I want to become a college professor, but I'm doing badly in school!!?

Many grad schools won't consider you without at least a 3.0 GPA; anything below that is failing in grad school, and grad school classes are much harder than undergrad. You didn't mention what field you're going into - you need a PhD in a particular field to teach it, and some fields are far more competitive than others. For the sciences, you'll need to get some good research experience to have a shot at a decent grad school even if you do have a high GPA - low GPA and no research experience is a killer for applying to grad schools. And the level of the institution you earn your PhD at determines where you might get a job - that level or lower. You're not going from the University of Wyoming to get a job as a professor at Harvard. It's very hard to get a faculty job even if you do have a PhD and a ton of research in your field - less than 5% of PhDs in some fields get a job as a professor. This might not be the best choice of careers, but if it's really what you want, keep working on your GPA.

Why does our hot water run so slow and how can i fix it?

Honestly it probaly the pipes they build up which will make it nearly impossible to get any pressure the hot water tank only breaks that's it it doesn't cause any other problems water will be on the ground. I am American and I want to go to medical school in Germany. I don't really understand the whole system for it. I want to go to school in Germany to become a Plastic Surgeon. She was potty trained at 11 - 12 months. She started really talking when she was 1 year 6 months. Not just small speech like "a big dog". I was wrongfully accused of going in excess of 100mph.?

No flashing lights no pull over foghorn , Then his lights went on and the driver says to me " I think he's after us " so we casually pull off to the 5 freeway softshoulder . He walks up to side of car and asks us what are we in a hurry for . We tell him we aren't in any hurry at all . He says "Well I clocked you going 100mph . We were shocked ! But we just complied with him . He went back to write citation and returned it to us . The actual speed he put down was 102mph . First of all , there is no way we were going that fast . Second , we had pulled off of the toll road (at Irvine Blvd) to pay the toll of $1.00 . So we decided to fight it . We go to court and the officers opening testimony begins with " I was under the overpass at Irvine Blvd . When I noticed a white sedan speeding towards me so I pulls out lidar gun and get a reading of 102mph then I get in to my car and chase after them " This was about 3/4 of a mile . . Anyways , The CHP officer cruised up behind us and ticketed us . We didn't think to ask him any questions or maybe look at radar reading . So we decided to plead not guilty because of toll booth factor. We were not successful in winning because we couldn't prove we were at toll booth . They don't give reciepts . The officer then stated under oath that it turned into a high speed chase and that we weren't at toll booth and that he even clocked us at 102mph while he was driving behind us . He told so many lies that My friend and I were outbursting in court and that made it worse . The car he was really after was long gone as it should be going that fast . So he decided to make us the target .So were in court in front of a judge and it's real nasty . the officer begins to lose his cool by yelling that we were definitely the ones and his Lidar gun is 100% accurate.The long and short of it is that We are going after this liar . First , the sheer speed he says we were going we would have been 5 miles down the road and out of sight . Second , if he was in a MAD PURSUIT wouldn't he have turned on copcamera and called for back-up . Those are his exact words "Mad Pursuit " is what he said in court in front of judge . It's all recorded . Isn't he perjuring himself ? We are going to appeal . It is two points on my record and a 500 fine but I wasn't going that fast and I was at the Toll booth when he said he saw a white sedan on the fasttrak lane going this crazy speed . ok i have a laptop set up as a slave computer and my desktop is the master, now i have full control of the laptop whenever i do something like open firefox or a text document, here is the problem i have this MMORPG called Fiesta that i was wanting to control with the desktop keyboard and mouse while i work on my desktop, now i can open the program up and enter my username and password but when it loads i lose the ability to control the slave with the master computer. now i can only control the laptop with the touch panel and once i take the focus away from the game window i get access from the master again, i only lose control when the game window is the focus, i tried a few permission changes even setting the master-slave program to run as admin, is there anyway around this or is this program limited to use local keyboard and mouse

I am 21 years old and i will have graduated this December with my bachelors degree in Psychology. I am a Junior in High School. I am almost fluent in Japanese, and I want to pursue Sicilian or Italian next. In order to become an interpreter/translator, I want to pursue a college major or branch that I can find better work in with my aiding qualifications. Though, I cannot decide which college major to pursue (and still have it interest me). I am interested in Cognitive Psychology, but I do not know how a bachelors/masters could be applied to Interpretation/TR work. Could this possibly better qualify me in Health Care Interpretation Work? Or would that degree even matter? Also, does anyone have any idea about what could be the big need, not only in college majors but in languages themselves, in the next few years for interpreters/translators? I was driving northbound on I-95 between Baltimore and Washington, where the speed limit is normally 65 and there is a "construction zone." Now, let me explain, they are building an overpass above the highway, and I drive this route frequently and have never seen a single lane of traffic blocked, and all of the construction is being done off the highway, and there are 3 to 5-foot concrete barriers between the highway and the construction area, and at this time, there was no construction going on, and no construction workers or equipment in sight. So I'm following the 1,000,000 cars in front of me and there are 1,000,000 cars behind me all spaced out at about normal intervals for moderate traffic, travelling north at about 6PM on friday and all going about 62, which is unusual light traffic for that time of day, but nevertheless. Now I am startled by a flash. I've just got popped by a speed camera. At first i look down and go hey I'm goign 62! then I think "oh wait there's construction going on off the side of the road somewhere up ahead" (not wheere the camera is, mind you, but a mile or two up ahead). Then I think "Hey wait I'm going as fast as everybody else." and then I look behind me, and notice this flash off in the distance going off at 10 or 20 second intervals. They were giving every 10th or so car a speeding ticket! Then I get a photo ticket letter in the mail, and it's not even for that speed camera, its for a speed camera on the baltimore beltway, and it says I was going 61 in a 50. 50 mph speed limit on the beltway? Must be a construction zone, right. So, I look at the picture, and I think "when was I on the beltway?," and I realize it was last saturday, and it says the ticket was given near security blvd. There's no sign of road contstruction of any kind in the picture, and I had no recollection of any construction. So I just happen to be going down there a day or two later and I see no sign of roadwork whatsoever, no equipment, nor cones, nothing except there is this little temporary sign that says something like "construction area, 50mph, fines doubled speed camera enforced" Except there is no construction, except maybe from 2 to 4 in the morning, and not necessarily anywhere within 5 miles of the "construction zone" speed camera. I guess the downturn in the economy has the state of Maryland looking for creative revenue-generating measures.

My GF wants to ride horses together but I am scared?

My gf is a real horse enthusiast and happens to own horses herself. She spends any spare time riding her horse since she lives on farm land. I would suggest learning the subway system to cut down on walking as much as possible. Halo 4 Trailer... WTF!?

Halo 3 had one of the best endings in video game history. Finally giving Master Chief the send off he deserved; a hero floating in the midst of space, saving humanity and asking Cortana to wake him if she gets lonely. I mean that ending impacted me emotionally because I got to care for Chief and Cortana over the course of three games. And when it had 117 carved into the piece of ship at the memorial, I shed a tear because of how masterfully it was done. And at the end, the very end, he goes back into the cyrotube, ending it just as it began. Then, 4 years later, they just had to show that ridiculous Halo 4 trailer. I mean seriously, Microsoft just ruined one of the best game series of all. I'm glad it's not made by Bungie but it's their fault for putting that awful Legendary ending. I mean... Brake problems on 2001 Toyota Camry CE?

I own an 01' Toyota camry. I'm stationed in germany right now and have to pass their inspection. One of the tests they do spins the wheels with the brake applied to measure the resistance. My car failed for having too much of a difference between the resistance on the left rear wheel and the right rear wheel. With the right rear being the lower of the 2, when the inspector tested them with the parking brake, the same values came up on the machine. i came home and pulled off my drums. the drums are in perfect shape and the the shoes are practically new. both sides were adjusted correctly and had a little bit of drag when spun by hand. i went over all of the the lines starting from the master cylinder, all the way to all four wheels and found no leaks or loose connections. i also checked the parking brake cables from the lever to the rear wheels and cant see anything wrong there. I am just at a loss with this problem. If they had failed only on the pedal test i would think it was something in the brake lines and bleed them. but they also failed on the parking brake test which is all cable operated. So i just cant pin point the problem. Please let me know if you have ever had any trouble like this or have any ideas for how to fix it, or anything i may have forgotten to check. thanks.
