Can you help me with this question about black slaves? or african americans?

I'm not being stereotypical, but my knowledge of blacks isn't a lot. I want to find out what happened to them when they came to America or Latin America as slaves? I know there's people like Renteria, a Colombian soccer player, who is probably Spanish. I know that people like Dwayne Wade, sound like their masters gave them they're last name, but I know they got raped on their way over to America in the ships. I heard the Black women got raped in the ships, and after they were on land in America, by the British. I think the same happened to people like Renteria, a black man, who has a Spanish last name. He is Spanish I think. Thanks for you help. I appreciate it.
