I was wrongfully accused of going in excess of 100mph.?

I was traveling s/b on the 133 toll road one day when I was pulled over by a CHP patrol car . He said he clocked us ( i had a passenger in car ) going over 100mph . We were shocked , didn't know what to say because you just hand him your license registration etcetc. The citation he wrote up said he used the lidar gun at Irvine Blvd. then proceeded to "catch up to us" after Trabuco overpass . . No flashing lights no pull over foghorn , Then his lights went on and the driver says to me " I think he's after us " so we casually pull off to the 5 freeway softshoulder . He walks up to side of car and asks us what are we in a hurry for . We tell him we aren't in any hurry at all . He says "Well I clocked you going 100mph . We were shocked ! But we just complied with him . He went back to write citation and returned it to us . The actual speed he put down was 102mph . First of all , there is no way we were going that fast . Second , we had pulled off of the toll road (at Irvine Blvd) to pay the toll of $1.00 . So we decided to fight it . We go to court and the officers opening testimony begins with " I was under the overpass at Irvine Blvd . When I noticed a white sedan speeding towards me so I pulls out lidar gun and get a reading of 102mph then I get in to my car and chase after them " This was about 3/4 of a mile . . Anyways , The CHP officer cruised up behind us and ticketed us . We didn't think to ask him any questions or maybe look at radar reading . So we decided to plead not guilty because of toll booth factor. We were not successful in winning because we couldn't prove we were at toll booth . They don't give reciepts . The officer then stated under oath that it turned into a high speed chase and that we weren't at toll booth and that he even clocked us at 102mph while he was driving behind us . He told so many lies that My friend and I were outbursting in court and that made it worse . The car he was really after was long gone as it should be going that fast . So he decided to make us the target .So were in court in front of a judge and it's real nasty . the officer begins to lose his cool by yelling that we were definitely the ones and his Lidar gun is 100% accurate.The long and short of it is that We are going after this liar . First , the sheer speed he says we were going we would have been 5 miles down the road and out of sight . Second , if he was in a MAD PURSUIT wouldn't he have turned on copcamera and called for back-up . Those are his exact words "Mad Pursuit " is what he said in court in front of judge . It's all recorded . Isn't he perjuring himself ? We are going to appeal . It is two points on my record and a 500 fine but I wasn't going that fast and I was at the Toll booth when he said he saw a white sedan on the fasttrak lane going this crazy speed . Any Thoughts out there?
