What was it? a ghost and why?

My son and I were driving down the blvd at about midnight or so. A car was at a stop and passed us the opposite way with what looked like a woman with hair but with no face. She had pitched black eyes and mouth shaped only. She looked angry and as she passed us my son asked me " mom did you see that" I asked what did you see? We both said, a woman with no face. We said it at the same time. We looked back and the car was gone, a matter of seconds. It was an ugly vibe and to this date, we wonder what it was and why? Anyone? BTW, we are spiritual and we love our god with all our heart but am open to discussions. Thank you!
