Does any1 kno the name of a british? rock band that came out round same time as blvd of broken dreams greenday?

They did a show on fuse channel back in 04-05ish. They did a live performance, i think there were 5 in the group, british? accent. All i remember about the song was that they were talking bout goin to work all the time, goin to "atm machine"--actual words in song, and there was no money there. It was a great song.
